The Sight Selector Lite by Patient Education Concepts, Inc. and Eyeland Design Network GmbH, is an application for use by eye care professionals to help demonstrate various eye diseases, conditions and treatments to their patients. These programs are not meant to serve for definitive diagnostic purposes nor as a substitute for clinical judgments. Both Sight Selector Applications (Lite, and Subscription) have the same programs available for downloading. The primary difference between the Sight Selector LITE version and the other Sight Selector Applications is that it only includes the Anatomy of the Eye topic. Once you download the Free Anatomy topic, you will have the ability to purchase additional topics within the application s in-app store. Each individual topic within the app allows doctors and counselors to educate their patients using 3D images or narrated videos. The topics are divided into nine categories: Cataracts & IOLs, Refractive Errors, Laser Vision Correction, Wavefront Guided Procedures, Wavefront Optimized Procedures, Conventional LVC Procedures, General Ophthalmology, Cosmetic and Optical. In addition, the application provides the user the ability to draw on the 3 D images, create and save video playlists and add their own custom videos to playlists.
